 Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը կոչ է անում «մութ սենյակում սև կատու չփնտրել»` արձագանքելով մամուլի հրապարակմանը, թե ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը միայն վերջին պահին է կարողացել համոզել ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին իրեն ներառել ՀՀԿ գործադիր մարմնի կազմում:

«Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության գործադիր մարմնի յուրաքանչյուր անդամ կուսակցության ղեկավար կազմի ներկայացուցիչ է: Հանրապետականը  մեկ առաջնորդի կուսակցություն է, առաջնորդը Սերժ Սարգսյանն է, իսկ մնացածն իրականացնում են քաղաքականություն, որը բխում է լիդերի քաղաքականությունից: Հիմա ով որտեղ կլինի, ով ինչ պաշտոնում կլինի, ինձ համար երկրորդական է: Հիմա ես ԱԺ փոխնախագահ եմ, վաղը կարող եմ լինել սովորական գործազուրկ, բայց դա չի նշանակում, որ ես պետք է կուսակցական ավելի ակտիվ գործունեություն չիրականացնեմ: Դա մամուլն է գրում, ե ս նման խնդիր չգիտեմ, մեր կուսակցությունում որևէ նման խնդիր չկա: Մի փնտրեք սև կատու մութ սենյակում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ խորհրդարանում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում խ նշեց Շարմազանովը:

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը հավելեց, որ ինքը հստակ կարող է ասել՝ ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստի ընթացքում որևէ անձի հետ կապված նման հարց չի քննարկվել: «Մենք յուրաքանչյուրս առաջարկություններ արել ենք, այնուհետև հրապարակային քննարկել ենք և եկել ենք այն եզրակացության, որ համագումարին պետք է ներկայացնենք գործադիր մարմնի անդամի թեկնածուների 21 հոգանոց  ցուցակը: Եվ համագումարը հավանության է արժանացրել այդ ցուցակը»,- ասաց նա:

Հարցին՝  ճի՞շտ են մամուլում հրապարակվող տեղեկությունները, թե քանի որ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության կազմն էապես փոխվելու է, այդ պատճառով ՀՀԿ-ում կռիվ է ընկել, Շարմազանովը պատասխանեց, որ մրցակցությունն ու կռիվը տարբեր բաներ են: «Առողջ մրցակցությունը պրոգրեսի հայրն է: Եվ այդ իմաստով ժողովրդավարություն՝ առանց ներկուսակցական առողջ մրցակցության, «նոնսենս» է: Մեր կուսակցությունը խրախուսում է առողջ մրցակցությունը»,- եզրափակեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:
