Նյու Յորքի քաղաքագլուխը դեկտեմբերի 13-ը հռչակել է Պան Գի Մունի օրը

 Նյու Յորքի քաղաքագլուխ Բիլ դե Բլազիոն դեկտեմբերի 13-ը հռչակել Է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունի օրը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է համաշխարհային կազմակերպության մամուլի ծառայությունը՝ ամփոփելով քաղաքագլխի հետ նրա վարչական ղեկավարի հանդիպման արդյունքները, որը կայացել Է դեկտ եմբերի 13-ին:

«Գլխավոր քարտուղարը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց քաղաքագլխին դեկտեմբերի 13-ը ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունի օրը հռչակելու համար, նշելով, որ իր համար դա հսկայական պատիվ Է»,-ասված Է հաղորդագրության մեջ: Պան Գի Մունը, որը գլխավոր քարտուղարի պաշտոնը թողնելու Է երկուսուկես շաբաթ հետո, նաեւ երախտագիտություն Է հայտնել Նյու Յորքի իշխանություններին ու բնակիչներին կազմակերպության կենտրոնակայանի ու նրա աշխատակիցների տեղավորման հարցում ցուցաբերած հյուրընկալության համար:

Անցած շաբաթ Նյու Յորքի քաղաքապետարանը զեկույց Էր ներկայացրել, որում ասված Է, որ քաղաքում ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանի տեղակայումն օգնեց ստեղծել մոտավորապես 8 հազար աշխատատեղ, ինչպես նաեւ 3,7 մլրդ դոլարի չափով շահույթ բերեց գերքաղաքի գանձարանին: «Նյու Յորքը ոչ միայն տնտեսական ու մշակութային, այլեւ դիվանագիտական մայրաքաղաք Է: Մենք հպարտանում ենք նրանով, որ մեզ մոտ ընդունել ենք ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանն ու աշխարհի խոշորագույն դիվանագիտական հանրակցությանը»,-այդ կապակցությամբ հայտարարել Է Բիլ դե Բլազիոն:

Պան Գի Մունը ՄԱԿ-ը գլխավորում Է 2007 թվականից: Հոկտեմբերին ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան հաջորդ գլխավոր քարտուղար նշանակեց Պորտուգալիայի նախկին վարչապետ Անտոնիու Գուտերիշին: Դեկտեմբերի 12-ին տեղի ունեցավ նրա երդմնակալության արարողությունը, իսկ հունվարի 1-ից Գուտերիշը ձեռնամուխ կլինի իր պարտականությունների կատարմանը:

Ինչպես սպասվում Է, ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհուրդը դեկտեմբերի 14-ին բանաձեւ կընդունի, որում կնշի Պան Գի Մունի վաստակը գլխավոր քարտուղարի պաշտոնում: Երկու օր առաջ համանման փաստաթուղթ Է ընդունել Գլխավոր ասամբլեան, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
