Օրերս, տեղեկություն տարածվեց այն մասին, որ Աֆղանստանից Գերմանիա տեղափոխված միգրանտը մեղադրվում է 19–ամյա ուսանողուհու բռնաբարության և սպանության մեջ: Սպանվածը պատահական մարդ չէր։ Նա Եվրահանձնաժողովի բարձր պաշտոնյա, իրավունքի դոկտոր Կլեմենս Լադենբուրգերի դուստրն էր։ Ընդհանրապես, եթե դատենք ոչ միայն այս դրվագով, այլ առկա իրողություններով, ապա պետք է փաստենք, որ Եվրոպան այսօր կանգնած է լրջագույն խնդրի առաջ։ Դա ունի իր մի քանի հիմնական գործոնները։ 90–ականների սկզբներին, երբ Եվրոպան հասկացավ, որ չի կարողանում ապահովել ծնելիություն, իսկ դրա գլխավոր պատճառներից մեկը հենց արևմտյան մտածողությունն էր, սկսեց այդ բացը լրացնել հետխորհրդային տարածքի և, այսպես ասված, «երրորդ աշխարհի» երկրների հաշվին։ Ժամանակի ընթացքում, չգիտես ինչու, հետխորհրդային տարածքի երկրների բնակչության ներգաղթը կասեցվեց, իսկ արաբական աշխարհինը թողնվեց նույն տեմպերով։ 

Սա առնվազն տարակուսելի է մի քանի գործոններից ելնելով։ Նախ, հետխորհրդային տարածքի ժողովուրդներից շատերը՝ հայեր, ռուսներ, վրացիներ, ուկրաինացիներ, ավելի շուտ էին ադապտացվում այդ միջավայրին։ Նրանք հիմնականում խնդիրներ չէին ստեղծում մշակութային և կրոնական հակադրությունների դաշտում, ինչն առկա է արաբների կամ մյուս մուսուլմանների պարագայում։ Առավելագույն հանցագործությունները, որ կարող են կատարել, դա մանր զեղծարարություններն են և գողությունները, որոնց մեջ ներքաշված են նաև արաբները, աֆղանները, իրաքցիները և այլք։ Սակայն, ի տարբերություն առաջինների՝ հետխորհրդային ժողովուրդների, այս վերջինները ներքաշված են նաև ավելի ծանր հանցագործությունների մեջ՝ ահաբեկչություն, սպանություններ, բռնաբարություններ, կազմակերպված հանցագործություններ։ Այստեղ տրամաբանական հարց է առաջանում, ինչո՞ւ է Եվրոպան շարունակում հանդուրժող գտնվել նրանց նկատմամբ, իսկ ավելի շուտ ինտեգրվող ժողովուրդների հանդեպ՝ ոչ։ 

Այս հարցի պատասխանը գտնել շատ դժվար է։ Ակնհայտ է, որ արևելքի հետ կան ամենատարբեր հակադրությունները, որոնք արտահայտվում են մշակութային ընկալումների դաշտից սկսած, մինչև քաղաքական ասպեկտ։ Եվրոպայում հայտնված արաբը կամ աֆղանը, մտածում է, որ շարունակելու է ապրել այն արժեքային դաշտում, որում ապրել է երկար տարիներ։ Անգամ նրա երրորդ սերունդը չի փոխվում։ Իսկ եվրոպացին ստիպված է հանդուրժել նրան, քանի որ ժամանակի կարճատես քաղաքականության արդյունքում, դարձել է ԱՄՆ քաղաքականության ֆորտպոստը։ Այդ նույն ժողովրդագրական ճգնաժամը նրանք կարող էին հաղթահարել ինչպես հետխորհրդային տարածքի ժողովուրդների, այնպես էլ պակաս վտանգավոր չինացիների հաշվին։ Սակայն յուրաքանչյուր թեժ կետ ստեղծելուց հետո, ԱՄՆ–ն, տեղի խաղաղ բնակչության խնդիրները պարտադրում է Եվրոպային։ Բայց նրանք խաղաղ են միայն տեղում։ Հենց հայտնվում են Եվրոպայում, տեղի է ունենում արժեքային բախում և հակադրություն, որի մասին վերը խոսեցինք։ 

Իսկ այդ բախումներում, երրորդների անհատի շեշտվածությունը դառնում է թելադրող։ Այդպես է եղել Աֆղանստանի, Իրաքի, իսկ այժմ արդեն Սիրիայի պարագայում։ Իսկ Եվրոպան, ոչինչ չի կարողանում անել։ Միայն հայտարարում է ձևական մարդասիրություն, և էլ ավելի խճճվում և կորցնում դիմագիծը։ Ու այստեղ, որպես վերջաբան, արդիական է դառնում երկու հայտնի հարցադրում՝ պատմության ավա՞րտը, թե՞ Եվրոպայի մայրամուտը։
