Սումատրայի ափերի մոտ երկրաշարժի զոհերի թիվն աճում Է

Ինդոնեզիայի Սումատրա կղզու ափերի մոտ տեղի ունեցած երկրաշարժի զոհերի թիվը հասել Է 54-ի, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Ասոշիեյթեդ պրես» գործակալությանը: Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել Էր 25 զոհերի մասին:
Ինչպես նշել Է գեներալ-մայոր Տատան Սուլեյմանը, 52 զոհվածների մարմիններ հայտնաբերվել են Պիդիջայայի օկրուգում, որը երկրաշարժի Էպիկենտրոնին ամենամոտ շրջանն Է, եւս երկու զոհվածների գտել են հարեւան Բիրյոենի շրջանում: Տեղեկացվում Է, որ առնվազն 78 մարդ լուրջ վնասվածքներ Է ստացել:
6,5 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժը տեղի Է ունեցել դեկտեմբերի 7-ի առավոտյան Սումատրա կղզուց ոչ հեռու: Ավերված շենքերի փլատակների տակ տասնյակ մարդիկ են մնում: Փրկարարական աշխատանքներին խանգարում Է տեղանքի բարդ լանդշաֆտը: Պիդիջայայի հիվանդանոցները լեփլեցուն են տուժածներով, մարդկանց մի մասին հարկ Է լինում ուղարկել հարեւան շրջաններ:
Տարերային աղետների հետեւանքների վերացման ազգային վարչության տեղական բաժանմունքի ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ երկրաշարժն ավերել Է բազմաթիվ մզկիթներ, հանրային օգտագործման շինություններ եւ բնակելի շենքեր, բայց առայժմ հնրավոր չԷ ստույգ գնահատել աղետի մասշտաբները:
Ինդոնեզիայի նախագահ Ջոկո Վիդոդոն համապատասխան բոլոր նախարարություններին ու գերատեսչություններին ցուցում Է տվել շտապ կարգով օգնություն ցուցաբերել երկրաշարժի հետեւանքների վերացման աշխատանքներին, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
