Առնվազն 25 մարդ Է զոհվել Ինդոնեզիայի Աչե արեւմտյան նահանգում տեղի ունեցած ուժեղ երկրաշարժի հետեւանքով, բոլոր զոհվածները Պիդիջայա շրջանի բնակիչներ են: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է շրջանի փոխղեկավար Սայիդ Մուլյադին Metro TV հեռուստաալիքի եթերում:
6,5 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժը տեղի Է ունեցել դեկտեմբերի 7-ի առավոտյան Սումատրա կղզուց ոչ հեռու:
Մուլյադիի խոսքով՝ ավերված շենքերի փլատակների տակ տասնյակ մարդիկ են մնում: Փրկարարական աշխատանքներին խանգարում Է տեղանքի բարդ լանդշաֆտը: Պաշտոնյան հավելել Է, որ Պիդիջայայի հիվանդանոցները լեփլեցուն են տուժածներով, մարդկանց մի մասին հարկ Է լինում ուղարկել հարեւան շրջաններ:
Տարերային աղետների հետեւանքների վերացման ազգային վարչության տեղական բաժանմունքի ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ երկրաշարժն ավերել Է բազմաթիվ մզկիթներ, հանրային օգտագործման շինություններ եւ բնակելի շենքեր, բայց առայժմ հնրավոր չԷ ստույգ գնահատել աղետի մասշտաբները:
