«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Հայաստանում ամենաարագ աճ արձանագրողը ծառայությունների ոլորտն է: Համենայն դեպս դա է ապացուցում պաշտոնական վիճակագրությունը` ԱՎԾ-ն: Այս տարվա առաջին 10 ամիսների ընթացքում էլ այդ ոլորտը ցույց է տվել 7.7 տոկոս աճ:
Տեղեկություններ կային, որ ծառայությունների ոլորտի երկնիշ աճերը տեղի են ունենում կազինոների հաճախելիության ավելացման հաշվին: Սակայն այս տեղեկությունները հաստատող պաշտոնական տվյալներ չկային: Երեկ ԱՎԾ-ն հրապարակել է վիճակագրական տարեգիրքը, որտեղ այդ տվյալը անուղղակիորեն առկա է:
Այսպես, ՀՀ մարզերում եւ Երեւանում ծառայությունների ծավալը աճել է 2-5 տոկոսով կամ առավելագույնը 10 տոկոսով, եւ միայն Կոտայքում` մոտ 90 տոկոսով: Այսինքն, գրեթե կրկնապատկվել է: Իսկ Կոտայքում գտնվում է ամենախոշոր կազինոն` Գագիկ Ծառուկյանին պատկանող «Շանգրիլան»: Ուշագրավ է, որ անցած տարի մեր համախառն ներքին արդյունքը նախորդ տարվա համեմատ աճել է շուրջ 200 միլիարդ դրամով, որից 37 միլիարդ դրամը ապահովել է միայն Կոտայքի մարզը իր ամենամեծ կազինոյով: Ստացվում է, որ մեր տնտեսության շոգեքարշը կազինոներն են»:
