Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքը «նպատակ ունի կառուցողական հարաբերություններ հաստատել Ռուսաստանի հետ» եւ «ակնկալում Է շարունակել Ռուսաստան-ՆԱՏՕ խորհրդի աշխատանքը»՝ ուսումնասիրելով հաջորդ հանդիպումն անցկացնելու հնարավորությունները, մասնավորապես, «ռազմական ռիսկերի նվազեցումը քննարկելու համար»: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ենս ՍտոլտենբերգÕ ¨ հայտարարել Է մամուլի ասուլիսում, որը տեղի Է ունեցել դաշինքի ԱԳ նախարարների՝ դեկտեմբերի 6-7-ին կայանալիք հանդիպման նախաշեմին: 

Ստոլտենբերգը նաեւ նշել Է, որ Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքը հուս ունի շարունակել Ռուսաստան-ՆԱՏՕ խորհրդի աշխատանքը, այդ թվում՝ ռազմական ռիսկերի նվազեցման նպատակով:

Ստոլտենբերգը հայտնել Է, որ Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների՝ դեկտեմբերի 6-7-ին Բելգիայի մայրաքաղաքում կայանալիք հանդիպմանը Եվրամիությունը եւ ՆԱՏՕ-ն 40 կետից բաղկացած միջոցառումների փաթեթ կընդունեն հիբրիդային սպառնալիքների դեմ պայքարի եւ ծովում անվտանգության վերաբերյալ: 

Դաշինքի գլխավոր քարտուղարը հայտարարել Է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն կշարունակի գործնական եւ քաղաքական օգնություն ցուցաբերել Ուկրաինային: Նրա խոսքով՝ այդ հարցը ներկայացված Է ՆԱՏՕ-Ուկրաինա հանձնաժողովի՝ դեկտեմբերի 7-ի նախարարական նիստին:

Ստոլտենբերգի խոսքով՝ ՆԱՏՕ-ն կպաշտպանի Սիրիայում քաղաքական կարգավորման հասնելու բոլոր ջանքերը:

«ՆԱՏՕ-ն կպաշտպանի Սիրիայում քաղաքական կարգավորման հասնելու բոլոր ջանքերը»,-նշել Է նա: Գլխավոր քարտուղարը նաեւ ընդգծել Է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն հավանություն Է տալիս «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ միջազգային կոալիցիայի գործողություններին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
