ԱՄՆ-ի ընտրված նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հանդես Է եկել ՉԺՀ-ի տնտեսական քաղաքականության, ինչպես նաեւ Հարավչինական ծովում Պեկինի գործողությունների քննադատությամբ: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում «Արմենպրես»-ը, համապատասխան հաղորդագրությունը դեկտեմբերի 4-ի երեկոյան նա զետեղել Է Twitter-ի իր Էջում:
«Մի՞թե Չինաստանը հարցրել Է մեզ, թե լա՞վ Է արդյոք արժեզրկել իրենց արժույթը (որպեսզի մեր ընկերությունների համար ավելի դժվար լինի մրցակցելը), բարձր հարկերով հարկել մեր ապրանքները, որոնք ստացվում են նրանց երկրում (իսկ ԱՄՆ-ը նրանցից հարկեր չի գանձում) կամ Էլ ընդգրկուն ռազմական համալիր կառուցել Հարավչինական ծովում: Ես այդպես չեմ կարծում»,- գրել Է Թրամփը:
Նախընտրական արշավի ընթացքում քաղաքական գործիչը բազմիցս արտահայտվել Է չինական ապրանքների համար հատուկ մաքսերի սահմանման օգտին՝ պնդելով, որ ՉԺՀ-ն երկկողմ առեւտրի բնագավառում հաշվեկշռի խախտման հաշվին վնաս Է հասցնում ԱՄՆ-ին: Հանրապետականը նաեւ Պեկինը համարել Է Վաշինգտոնի տնտեսական թշնամին ազգային արժույթի փոխարժեքի մեքենայությունների պատճառով, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
