Հրդեհ գիշերային ակումբում, կան զոհեր

Քալիֆորնիայի Օքլենդ քաղաքի գիշերային ակումբներից մեկում տեղի նկարիչների կազմակերպած երեկույթի ժամանակ հրդեհ է բռնկվել: Տասնյակ մարդիկ համարվում են անհետ կորած: Հաստատվել է 9 մարդու մահը, բայց զոհերի թիվը կարող է ավելանալ, նախազգուշացրել է Օքլանդի ոստիկանական ծառայությունը:
Հաղորդվում է, որ հրդեհի բռնկման պահին 50-100 մարդ է եղել շինության ներսում: Ավելի հստակ տվյալներ չկան, քանի որ միջոցառման համար տոմսեր չեն վաճառվել:
Հրդեհն սկսվել է գիշերը, տեղի ժամանակով 23:30-ի սահմաններում: Հրդեհի առաջացման պատճառները դեռևս հայտնի չեն:
Ոստիկանության տվյալներով' մշակութային կենտրոնում բացակայել են հակահրդեհային ազդանշանային և ավտոմատ հրդեհաշիջման համակարգերը: Շենքի 2-րդ հարկում գտնվող ակումբն ընդամենը մեկ ելք է ունեցել, իսկ միջանցքները լցված են եղել կահույքով, մանեքեններով, նկարների շրջանակներով և նկարիչներին պատկանող այլ իրերով: Հրշեջները դժվարությամբ են կարողացել հասնել հրդեհի բռնկման օջախին:
Ըստ լրատվամիջոցների' այս հրդեհը Օքլանդ քաղաքին պատուհասած երկրորդ խոշոր աղետն է: 1989թ. այստեղ գրանցված երկրաշարժից 63 մարդ է զոհվել:
