Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը «Մեգերյան կարպետ» ընկերություն նախագահ Րաֆֆի Մեգերյանի հրավերով դեկտեմբերի 2-ին այցելել է ձեռագործ գորգերի գործարան:
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ընկերության նախագահի և գործարանի արտադրության ու մարկետինգի գծով գլխավոր տնօրեններ Լեոնիդ Անդրիասյանի և Կարեն Այվազյանի ուղեկցությամբ քաղաքապետը շրջել է ձեռագործ գորգերի արտադրամասում և հետևել գորգերի ստեղծման ընթացքին: Տարոն Մարգարյանին ներկայացնելով ընկերության գործունեությունն ու ավանդական հայկական ձեռագործ գորգերի արտադրության այստեղ կիրառվող տեխնոլոգիաները և հմտությունները՝ գործարանի արտադրության գծով գլխավոր տնօրեն Լեոնիդ Անդրիասյանը նշել է, որ ամբողջությամբ պահպանվում են հայկական գորգերի ավանդական ոճերն ու դիզայնը: Նաև նշվել է, որ ընկերության գորգերն առանձնանում են իրենց բնական գունային հարստությամբ, ինչը հաջողվել է շնորհիվ բրդյա թելերի ներկման բնական մեթոդների ներդրման՝ ընդգծվելով, որ տվյալ ներկերն էլ ստացվում են հայկական լեռնաշխարհի ծաղիկներից, արմատներից ու բույսերից, ինչպես հազարամյակներ առաջ:
Շրջայցի ընթացքում քաղաքապետը եղել է նաև ընկերության ընդարձակ թանգարան ցուցասրահում, որտեղ ներկայացված են ինչպես հին հայկական գորգեր, այնպես էլ «Մեգերյան կարպետ»-ի արտադրած արդեն ժամանակակից գորգերը: Նշվել է, որ գործարանն ու թանգարան-ցուցասրահը ներառված են հայաստանյան զբոսաշրջային ընկերությունների տուր-փաթեթներում և մեծ հետաքրքրություն են վայելում Երևան այցելող սբոսաշրջիկների շրջանում:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով հրավերի և ընկերության գործունեությունը ներկայացնելու համար, քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը՝ կարևորելով հայկական գորգագործության ավանդույթների պահպանումն ու դրանց շարունակականության ապահովումը, վստահեցրել է, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանն իր լիազորությունների շրջանակում միշտ պատրաստ է աջակցելու ընկերությանը: Բացի այդ, քաղաքապետը նաև վստահեցրել է, որ քաղաքային իշխանությունները միշտ բաց և պատրաստակամ են ներդրողների հետ համագործակցելու և քննարկելու բոլոր այն ծրագրերը, որոնք ուղղված են ի բարօր ություն Երևանի և մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչների:
