«Ազատություն»-ը հարցում է ուղարկել նախագահական՝ ե՞րբ է որոշում կայացվել Ադրբեջանին զիջել նախկինում ԼՂԻՄ-ը շրջապատող յոթ շրջանները, արդյոք դա չի՞ նշանակում, որ այդ դեպքում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը կհայտնվի անկլավային վիճակում: «Որևէ տարածքի վերադարձի մասին հարցը կարող է առարկայական լինել միայն Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կարգավիճակի որոշման պարագայում: Հանգուցալուծման առաջարկի փաթեթն ամրագրում է Հայաստանի և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի միջև ցամաքային կապի անհրաժեշտությունը: Սրան բազմ իցս անդրադարձել են թե՛ Հայաստանը, թե՛ համանախագահները: Որևէ անկլավային կարգավիճակի մասին խոսք անգամ լինել չի կարող: Խոսքը Հայաստանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղին միացնող սոսկ ցամաքային ճանապարհի մասին չէ, այլ լայն, անվտանգ և անխափան ցամաքային այնպիսի կապի, որը լիարժեք ապահովված կլինի Ադրբեջանի կողմից որևէ ոտնձգությունից: Հատկապես ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո, անվտանգության գոտի հանդիսացող հարակից տարածքների ներկա կարգավիճակն ավելի քան արդարացված է՝ հաշի առնելով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդին սպառնացող շարունակական և անմիջական սպառնալիքը»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասված է Հայաստանի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղարի պատասխանում:
