Ռուսաստանը կարող է բախվել միջազգային մեկուսացման, եթե շարունակի աջակցել Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադին: Նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես է եկել Սպիտակ տան մամլո քարտուղար Ջոշուա Էռնեստը, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
Պատասխանելով լրագրողների հարցին` ի՞նչ կլինի, եթե Ռուսաստանը չմիանա ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած միջազգային կոալիցիային, որն Իրաքում և Սիրիայում հակաահաբեկչական գործողություն է իրականացնում, և աջակցի Ասադին, մամլո քարտուղարն ասել է. «Դա նրանց միջազգային հանրությունից էլ ավելի կմեկուսացնի»:
«Նրանք կիրականացնեն մոտ 60 երկրների առջև կանգնած հակադիր խնդիրներ: Իսկ այդ երկրները ԱՄՆ գլխավորած կոալիցիայի շրջանակներում պայքարում են «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ»,- պնդել է Էռնեստը:
Բացի այդ, նրա խոսքերով՝ «Սիրիայում Ռուսաստանի շահերն ամբողջությամբ չեն հակասում աշխարհի մյուս մասի շահերին»: «Ռուսաստանը շահագրգռված է այդ հակաահաբեկչական կոալիցայի հաջողությամբ: Ռուսաստանն, իհարկե, կցանկանար տեսնել ԻՊ-ի չեզոքացման ռազմավարության հաջող իրագործում»,- հավելել է նա:
