Ֆիլիպինների նախագահ Ռոդրիգո Դուտերտեի անձնական պահակախումբը հարձակման Է ենթարկվել Ֆիլիպինների հարավի Մարավի քաղաք նրա այցի նախաշեմին, ըստ որում Դուտերտեն մտադիր չԷ չեղյալ հայտարարել այցը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է France-Presse գործակալությունը՝ վկայակ ոչելով նախագահի եւ երկրի զինված ուժերի հայտարարությունը:
«Իմ ջոկատը, որը վաղօրոք մեկնել Էր (այցի վայր – խմբ.), հարձակման Է ենթարկվել: Նախագահի անվտանգության ծառայությունը տուժել Է ինքնաշեն պայթուցիկ սարքից: Բայց ես կմեկնեմ այնտեղ: Ինձ խորհուրդ տվեցին հետաձգել այցը, բայց ես ասացի՝ ո՛չ: Մենք կմեկնենք հենց այդ նույն երթուղով, եթե հնարավորություն լինի»,- ասել Է Դուտերտեն Ֆիլիպինների հյուսիսում գտնվող զինվորական ճամբարում ունեցած ելույթի ժամանակ:
Երկրի բանակը հայտարարել Է, որ պայթյունի հետեւանքով տուժել են Դուտերտեի յոթ թիկնապահներ եւ երկու տեղացի զինվորներ: Խաղաղ բնակիչներից ոչ ոք չի վիրավորվել:
Երկրի զինված ուժերի ներկայացուցիչ Ռեստիտուտո Պադիլան գործակալությանը հայտարարել Է, որ գրոհն, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, Ֆիլիպինների հարավում գործող «Մաուտե» իսլամիստական ահաբեկչական խմբավորման զինյալների ձեռքի գործն Է, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
