Օլանդը կոչ է արել չեղարկել Կուբայի նկատմամբ էմբարգոն

Կուբայի հեղափոխության առաջնորդ Ֆիդել Կաստրոյի մահվան կապակցությամբ իր ելույթի ժամանակ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը կոչ է արել ամբողջովին չեղարկել Կուբայի դեմ էմբարգոն, հայտնում է BFMTV հեռուստաալիքը։
«Ես ուզում եմ Ֆիդել Կաստրոյի մահվան կապակցությամբ նորից հիշեցնել այն մասին, որ էմբարգոն, որը հիմա բացասաբար է ազդում Կուբայի վրա, պետք է ամբողջովին չեղարկվի»,- ասել է Օլանդը, ելույթ ունենալով Մադագասկարի մայրաքաղաք Անտանանարիվուում։
Նա նաեւ նշել է, որ Կուբան կարող է «լիարժեք ներկա գտնվել միջազգային համայնքում, դիտարկվելով որպես գործընկեր»։
Կուբայի հեղափոխական, պետական ու քաղաքական գործիչ Ֆիդել Կաստրոն մահացել է նոյեմբերի 25-ին 90 տարեկանում։ Հուղարկավորությունը նշանակված է դեկտեմբերի 4-ին, Սանտյագո- դե -Կուբա քաղաքում։
ԱՄՆ-ն ու Կուբան 2014-ի վերջին հայտարարել են, որ սկսում են հարաբերությունների աստիճանական կարգավորումը։ Կողմերը վերականգնել են դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման այցելել է Հավանա։ ԱՄՆ –ն նաեւ թուլացրել է Կուբայի դեմ առեւտրատնտեսական սահմանափակումները, չնայած առեւտրային էմբարգոն, որը կոնգրեսը սահմանել էր ավելի քան կես դար առաջ , ուժի մեջ է մնացել։ Կոնգրեսի հանրապետական մեծամասնությունը հրաժարվում է չեղարկել էմբարգոն, պահանջելով Կուբայում քաղաքական փոփոխություններ։
