Պետդումայի փոխխոսնակ, «Եդինայա Ռոսիա» կուսակցության փոխնախագահ Սերգեյ Ժելեզնյակի գլխավորած պատվիարկությունը այցելեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշահամալիր: Դեպի զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող  անմար կրակի մոտ պատվիրակության անդամներին ուղեկցեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի փոխտնօրեն Սուրեն Մանուկյանը` ներկայացնելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության, հուշահամալիրի ստեղծման պատմությունը: Ծաղկեպսակ դնելով հուշահամալիրի մոտ` պատվիրակության անդամները մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգեցին 1915 թվականի Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը:

Սերգեյ Ժելեզնյակը, լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ արդեն երկրորդ անգամ է այցելում Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշահամալիր և ամեն անգամ այցելության ժամանակ մեծ ցավ է ապրում:

«Ամեն անգամ այցելության ժամանակ սիրտս կծկվում է ` կապված այն անմարդկայնության հետ, որն ուղղված է եղել հայ ժողովրդի դեմ: Սպանվել են անմեղ մարդիկ, երեխաներ, կանայք, ծերերը: Այս հանցագործությունը չպետք է երբևէ մոռացվի, դա է պատճառը, որ աշխարհի շատ երկրներ միանում են Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին: Ռուսաստանը ցավում է անմեղ զոհերի համար, մենք կարծում ենք, որ նման հանցագործությունները չպետք է կրկնվեն: Շատ կարևոր է, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ հիշողություները չմոռացվեն: Շնորհակալ ենք այն մարդկանց, ովքեր պահպանում են այդ հիշողությունը և փոխանցում սերունդներին»,-  Արմենպրեսի հաղորդմամբ ասաց Սերգեյ Ժելեզնևը: Նրա խոսքով՝ պատմական այդ էջերը պետք է մանրամասն ուսումնասիրվեն և դրանցից դասեր քաղվեն: Սերգեյ Ժելեզնևն ընդգծեց, որ 1915 թվականին հայերի դեմ կատարվածը հանցագործություն է և դրան ոչ մի արդարացում չկա:

Պետդումայի փոխխոսնակ, «Եդինայա Ռոսիայի» փոխնախագահ Սերգեյ Ժելեզնյակի գլխավորած պատվիարկությունը շրջեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարանում: Ավարտին Սերգեյ Ժելեզնյակը հուշամատյանում թողեց գրառում, որում մասնավորապես ասված է. «Հայ եղբայրների հետ սգում ենք Ցեղասպանության զոհերի համար: Համատեղ ջանքերով մենք պետք է հասնենք Հայոց ցեղասպանության համաշխարհային ճանաչմանը»:
