«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «ՀՀ Ֆինանսների նախարար Վարդան Արամյանի՝ Նյու Յորք թռչելու եւ վերադարձի տոմսը արժեցել է 2 միլիոն 743 հազար դրամ կամ ավելի քան 5 հազար 500 դոլար: Տոմսն այդչափ թանկ է եղել, քանի որ նախարարը թռել է բիզնես դասով:
Նման արտոնյալ կարգավիճակ ունեն միայն ԱԱԽ անդամները: Եվ հետաքրքիրն այն է, որ այս տոմսը գնվել է վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանի հայտնի հայտարարությունից հետո, թե ավիատոմսերի գնման դեպքում պետք է վերացրեք «պրիմիտիվ գողությունները»: Հիշեցնենք, որ այդ գողությունները վերացնելու պատրվակով կառավարությունն իր համակարգին անհրաժեշտ բոլոր թռիչքների ավիատոմսերը պետք է պատվիրի «Էկենգ» ընկերությանը, որտեղից հայտարարել են, որ իրենց գնումների արդյունքում մոտ 30 տոկոս նվազել են տոմսերի գները:
Մեր ուսումնասիրությունները ցույց տվեցին, որ այս երթուղու բիզնես դասի տոմսերի շուկայական արժեքը շատ ավելի ցածր էլ է լինում՝ 3-4 հազար դոլարի չափով: Այսինքն «Էկենգը» այնքան էլ խնայողաբար չի մոտեցել այդ հարցին: Մյուս կողմից էլ «Էկենգը» նույն չվերթով մի տոմս ձեռք է բերել նաեւ Էներգետիկայի նախարարության համար, որն արժեցել է ընդամենը 392 հազար դրամ՝ 6-7 անգամ ավելի էժան: Նշենք, որ Վ. Արամյանը Նյու Յորք էր մեկնել՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ մասնակցելու «Հայաստան. ներդրումային համաժողով 2016»-ին: Եվ նա գերադասել է այդ երկարատեւ թռիչքն անցնել հնարավորինս հարմարավետ պայմաններում»:
