Աշխարհում ստեղծվում են այնպիսի իրեր, որոնք իրենց համբավը պահպանում են երկար տարիներ: Հենց նման երևույթ է ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմաօդային ուժերի գերձայնային հետախուզական «Սև կեռեխը»: Արագություն, հզորություն, թռիչքի բարձրություն՝ նրան հավասարը չկա:
1. Բացարձակ ռեկորդակիր
R-71 Blackbird ինքնաթիռն ստեղծվել է հեռավոր 1964-ին: Վերջին 15 տարում ինքնաթիռն ընդամենը մի քանի անգամ է օդ բարձրացրել: Սակայն, չնայած դրան, այն ամենաարագ պիլոտային ինքնաթիռն է ուղղահոս շարժիչով: Նրա շարժման արագությունը 3529,56կմ/ժ է: Ռեկորդը սահմանվել է 1976 թվականին։
2. Կրկնակի ռեկորդ
R-71 Blackbird-ը իր դասի մեջ այն քիչ ինքնաթիռներից է, որ ի վիճակի է թռչել մեկ շարժիչով: Ավելին, անգամ 1 շարժիչով թռչելիս, այն կարողացել է սահմանել տեղաշարժման արագության ռեկորդ։
3. Ամենից հզոր
Թեև ինքնաթիռի ստեղծումից անցել է արդեն կես դարից ավելի, սակայն այն ռեկորդակիր է շարժիչի քարշող ուժի հզորությամբ: Այդ «կեռնեխի» Pratt & Whitney J58-ը ունի 34000 ֆունտ քարշող ուժ։
4. Ամենածանր
Ամբողջությամբ լիցքավորած ինքնաթիռի զանգվածը կազմում է 77100 կգ: Դրանից վառելիքին բաժին է ընկնում 46180 կգ: Հետաքրքիրն այն է, որ ամբողջությամբ լիցքավորված ինքնաթիռը չի կարող թռչել։
5. Կոշտ վայրէջք
Blackbird-ի օդ բարձրանալը դժվարին պրոցես է, սակայն ավելի բարդ է ինքնաթիռի վայրէջքը: Արգելակման համար անհրաժեշտ է մի քանի պարաշյուտ։
6. Առաջինը շատերից
Ռադիոտեղորոշիչ նկատելիության նվազման հայտնի տեխնոլոգիան առաջին անգամ կիրառվել է Blackbird- ի ստեղծման ժամանակ։
7. «Սուր աչք»
SR-71 Blackbird-ը ստեղծվել է, որպես հետախուզական ինքնաթիռ։
8. «52-րդ գոտի»
Հետաքրքիր է, որ Blackbird-ը փորձարկումներն անցել է հայտնի, լեգենդար 51-րդ գոտում։
9. «Բարև ընտանիքին»
Ղեկավարել SR-71 Blackbird-ը կարող էր ոչ ամեն մի ԱՄՆ ռազմաօդային ուժերի օդաչու: Այն կարող էին ղեկավարել միայն 25-40 տարեկան ամուսնացած օդաչուները։
10. Սևը ոչ միայն ոճային է
Ինքնաթիռի գույնի ընտրությունը պայմանավորված է բացառապես տեխնիկական պահանջներով: Բանն այն է, որ սևը ավելի լավ է ցրում տաքությունը, ինչը թույլ չի տալիս ինքնաթիռի ֆյուզելյաժին տաքանալ: .
