Նոյեմբերի 22–ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մոսկվայում Ս. Դանիելի պատրիարքանիստ վանքում, հանդիպում ունեցավ Մոսկվայի և Համայն Ռուսիո Կիրիլ Ա Պատրիարքի հետ։
 
Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սբ Եկեղեցու և հավատավոր հայոց հոտի անունից շնորհավորելով Կիրիլ Պատրիարքին ծննդյան 70–րդ հոբելյանական տարեդարձի առիթով՝ Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նրան փոխանցեց իր եղբայրական սերն ու բարեմաղթանքները՝ քաջառողջություն և Հովվապետության բեղուն տարիներ մաղթելով Նորին Սրբությանը:
 
Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը մեծապես կարևորեց Մոսկվայի և Համայն Ռուսիո Պատրիարքի Քույր Եկեղեցիներին և աշխարհի տարբեր կողմերում գտնվող քրիստոնեական համայնքներին ցուցաբերվող զորակցությունը՝ մասնավորապես անդրադառնալով Մերձավոր Արևելքի երկրներում տիրող ծանր իրավիճակին։
 
Նորին Սրբությունը այս իմաստով գոհունակություն հայտնեց նաև, որ Ռուս Եկեղեցու Հովվապետի ուշադրությունից անմասն չէ նաև Այսրկովկասի տարածաշրջանը՝ առանձնակի գնահատելով Կիրիլ Պատրիարքի միջնորդական ջանքերը տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության վերահաստատման ուղղությամբ։
 
Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը անդրադարձավ նաև երկու Եկեղեցիների միջև առկա եղբայրական կապերի և գործակցությանը՝ համահունչ երկու ժողովուրդների դարավոր բարեկամությանը։ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Ռուսաստանի հայոց թեմերի և տեղի հայության հանդեպ մշտապես ցուցաբերվող հոգևոր խնամքի և հայրական հոգածության համար իր մասնավոր շնորհակալությունը հայտնեց Կիրիլ Պատրիարքին:
Իր հերթին ողջունելով Նորին Սրբությանը և նրան ուղեկցող պատվիրակությանը՝ Կիրիլ Պատրիարքը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Գարեգին Բ Վեհափառ Հայրապետին՝ Նորին Սրբության համար հատկանշական հոբելյանի այս օրերին իր ներկայության և բերած մասնակցության համար։
 
Կիրիլ Պատրիարքը գոհունակությամբ նշեց, որ երկու ժողովուրդներին միավորող անցյալի նվիրական կապերն այսօր էլ շարունակում են զորանալ և պտղաբերել։ Նա ընդգծեց, որ անցյալում հայ–ռուսական հարաբերություններն անցել են թե՛ դժվարությունների և թե՛ հերոսական եղբայրական համագործակցության միջով՝ անկախ պետությունների առկայության պարագային շարունակելով ամրապնդվել և զարգանալ նոր ոգով ու ընդգրկունությամբ։
