ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին և ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը հեռախոսային խոսակցության ընթացքում քննարկել են Սիրիայում, Ուկրաինայում և, ընդհանուր առմամբ, Մերձավոր Արևելքում տիրող իրավիճակը:
Վկայակոչելով ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության պաշտոնական կայքը, մասնավորապես անդրադարձ է կատարվել Սիրիայում հակամարտության կարգավորման ուղիներին, այդ թվում` ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի բանաձևի կենսագործման կարևորությունը:
«Քննարկվել են նաև միջսիրիական բանակցությունների մեկնարկի համար անհրաժեշտ նախապայմանները, ինչպես նաև Հալեպի արևելյան հատվածում իրավիճակին կայունացման հարցը, որտեղ կենտրոնացել են զինված անօրինական խմբավորումները և որոնց շրջանակում առաջատար դեր է խաղում «Ջաբհաթ ան-Նուսրա» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումը»,- ասված է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ հայտարարության մեջ:
Անդրադարձ է եղել նաև Եմենում և Ուկրաինայում իրավիճակի զարգացման հարցերին:
