ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ ծրագրում է պատ կառուցել ԱՄՆ-Մեքսիկա սահմանին և արտաքսել 3 մլն անօրինական ներգաղթյալների։ Նման դիրքորոշմամբ միլիարդատերը հանդես է եկել CBS հեռուստաալիքի հետ հարցազրույցում։
«Մենք պատրաստվում ենք արտաքսել մարդկանց, ովքեր հանդիսանում են հանցագործներ, ունեն քրեական անցյալ, հանդիսանում են ավազակախմբերի անդամներ, թմրավաճառականներ։ Այդ մարդիկ շատ են, հավանաբար 2 մլն, կարող է նույնիսկ՝ 3 մլն։ Մենք նրանց կարտաքսենք մեր երկրից կամ բանտ կնստեցնենք։ Նրանք այստեղ են գտնվում անօրինական հիմունքով»,-նշել է նա՝ ընդգծելով այդ որոշման անհետաձգելիությունը։
Միլիարդատերը նաև հաստատակամ է պատասխանել լրագրողի հարցին՝ պատի շինարարության պլանների մասին, և ընդգծել, որ այն կկառուցվի սահմանի որոշ հատվածներոմ, իսկ մնացած մասերում հատուկ ցանկապատ կկանգնեցվի։
Այն բանից հետո, երբ սահմանը հուսալիորեն կպաշտպանվի և ամեն բան կնորմալանա, միգրացիոն ծառայության աշխատակիցները որոշում կընդունեն ներգաղթյալների հարցով։
