Հետազոտություններով պարզվել է, որ կարմիր սոխը 87 %-ով կանխում է մազաթափությունը: Մազերի որակի բարելավումը զգացվում է մեկ ամսից: Կարմիր սոխը հարուստ է ծծումբով, որը նպաստում է կոլագենի արտադրությանը, ինչն էլ խթանում է մազերի աճը: Սոխի հյութը օգտակար է գլխամաշկի արյան շրջանառությունը կարգավորելու համար:
Սոխի հյութով դեղամիջոցը պատրաստելու համար անհրաժեշտ է 2-4 սոխ լվանալ, կտրատել և ճզմել` քամելով հյութը: Կարելի է հարել հյութաքամիչով: Ստացված հյութին պետք է ավելացնել 1 թեյի գդալ մեղր և լավ խառնել: Այնուհետև անհրաժեշտ է մերսել գլխամաշկը այս հեղուկով մի քանի րոպե և թողնել այդպես 15-30 րոպե: Եթե չեք շտապում, կարելի է թողնել մինչև 1 ժամ: Այնուհետև պետք է սովորականի պես լվանալ մազերը: Այս գործընթացը պետք է կրկնել ամսական 2-3 անգամ:
