Մեր օրերում գեղեցկության մրցույթները նման են անձրեւից հետո աճող սնկերին: Ուր նայես՝ նման մրցույթներ են անցկացվում: Ընդ որում, նախկին ԽՍՀՄ երկրների գեղեցկուհիների մասնակցությամբ մրցույթներն անցկացվում են բացառապես Թուրքիայում, Բուլղարիայում, Չինաստանում եւ Հնդկաստանում, ինչը վկայում է հենց այդ երկրներում մրցույթների համար զարգացած ենթակառուցվածքների մասին:
Հնդկաստանում անցկացվել է «Միսիս թոփ աշխարհ 2016» գեղեցկության մրցույթը, որի հաղթող է ճանաչվել Սանկտ Պետերբուրգից Էլվիրա Լեսնիչայան: Եզրափակիչին մասնակցել է 16 գեղեցկուհի աշխարհի տարբեր ծայրերից: Սակայն մրցույթի ընթացքում ամեն ինչ հարթ չի եղել:
Ըստ Life-ի՝ «Միսիս Տիեզերքի» ժյուրիի անդամ Մարիա Երոշենկոն հրաժարվել է դատավորի դերից:
Նա իր Instagram-ում տեսանյութ է հրապարակել, որը նկարահանվել է եզրափակիչին մեկ ժամ առաջ: Դրանում տասնյակ հազարավոր բաժանորդներին դիմելով՝ Մարիան հայտարարել է, որ մրցույթի կանոնները կոպտորեն խախտվել են, քանի որ ինքը ժյուրիի միակ անդամն է:
«Ես Մարիա Երոշենկոն եմ, գեղեցկության մրցույթի ազգային տնօրենը: Մրցույթը մեկնարկելու է մեկ ժամ անց, բայց մինչեւ հիմա ես այս մրցույթի ժյուրիի միակ անդամն եմ: Եթե մեկ ժամվա ընթացքում իրավիճակը նույնը մնա, ստիպված կլինեմ հրաժարվել մասնակցությունից, քանի որ դա նշանակում է, որ բոլոր մասնակից աղջիկների ճակատագիրը միայն կազմակերպիչների ձեռքերում է: Ես պատրաստ չեմ մասնակցել նման խաղի»:
Արդյունքները կեղծելու մասին պաշտոնական հայտարարություն է արել նաեւ Ռուսաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Յուլիա Սաենկոն: Նա իր միկրոբլոգում գունավոր պատմել է, որ մրցույթի կազմակերպիչները դեռեւս դրա մեկնարկից առաջ իրեն միջոցառման զարդն են անվանել եւ խորհուրդ տվել հաղթանակի հույս չունենալ:
«Ես ներկայացնում եմ Ռուսաստանը: Իմ անունը Յուլիա Սաենկո է: Այսօր նոյեմբերի 10-ն է, եւ ես ուզում եմ պաշտոնական հայտարարություն անել. մրցույթին քիչ ժամանակ է մնացել, բայց ես գիտեմ, որ Թոփ-5-ում չեմ ընդգրկվելու. այստեղ արդեն ամեն ինչ ծրագրված է»,- հայտարարել է մրցույթի ռուսաստանցի մասնակիցը:
