Ստրասբուրգում կայացավ «Ժողովրդավարության համաշխարհային ֆորումը»

 Ստրասբուրգում նոյեմբերի 7-9-ը տեղի ունեցավ «Ժողովրդավարության համաշխարհային ֆորումը»՝ «Ժողովրդավարություն և հավասարություն. ի՞նչ դեր ունի կրթությունը» խորագրի ներքո։ Բացմանը ելույթներով հանդես եկան Եվրոպայի Խորհրդի գլխավոր քարտուղար Թյորբյորն Յագլանդը, Նորվեգիայի վարչապետ Էռնա Սոլբերգը, Ֆրանսիայի կրթության նախարար Նաջատ Վալո-Բելկասեմը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Ֆորումի` «Աջակցություն գլոբալ քաղաքացիությանը» խորագրով աշխատաժողովը վարում էր Եվրոպայի Խորհրդում Հայաստանի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Պարույր Հովհաննիսյանը։ 
Միջոցառմանը մասնակցում էր 100 երկիր ներկայացնող ավելի քան 2500 մասնակից, որոնց թվում էին գիտնականներ, քաղաքական գործիչներ, փորձագետներ և ուսանողներ։ Ֆորումի քննարկումներն ընթացան քաղաքացիություն, ժողովրդավարություն և կրթություն, ինչպես նաև կրթության սոցիալական տարբերությունների հարթեցում թեմաների շուրջ:

Փակման հանդիսավոր արարողության ժամանակ հայկական ազգային երաժշտության կատարումներով հանդես եկան հայ դաշնակահար Լուսինե Խաչատրյանը, իրանցի թառահար և երգահան Ալի Ղամսարին, ովքեր արժանացան հանդիսատեսի բարձր գնահատականին։

Ժողովրդավարության համաշխարհային ֆորումը հիմնվել է 2012թ. և կազմակերպվում է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի կողմից՝ Ստրասբուրգ քաղաքի ղեկավարության և ֆրանսիական կառավարության հետ համատեղ։ Այն հարթակ է ապահովում ժողովրդավարական կառավարման ոլորտում երկխոսության և նորարարությունների համար, նպաստում է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի սկզբունքների տարածմանը։ Ֆորումի ընթացքում քննարկվում են ժողովրդավարության առջև ծառացած արդի մարտահրավերները և դրանց հնարավոր լուծումները։
