ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահական ընտրություններում Դոնալդ Թրամփի տարած հաղթանակից հետո չինական արժույթի փոխարժեքն ընկել Է 0,2 տոկոսով եւ 1 դոլարի դիմաց կազմել 6,7907 յուան, ինչը ամենացածր մակարդակն Է 2010 թվականի սեպտեմբերից ի վեր: Այդպիսով, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հղում անելով Bloomberg-ին, յուանի տարեկան անկումը կազմել Է արդեն 4,4 տոկոս:
Ինչպես պարզաբանել Է DBS Group Holdings-ի տնտեսագետ Նաթան Չոուն, շուկայի մասնակիցները զգուշանում են, որ Թրամփը կարող Է ձեռնարկել այնպիսի միջոցներ, որոնք կհարվածեն չինական արտահանմանը եւ կնպաստեն ԱՄՆ-ում տոկոսադրույքների աճին: «Թրամփը բավականին պարզորոշ Է արտահայտել իր դիրքորոշումը Չինաստանի նկատմամբ, եւ դա, անտարակույս, ամենաբարեկամական արդյունքը չԷ ամերիկա-չինական առեւտրական փոխհարաբերությունների համար»,-ասել Է Հոնկոնգում National Australia Bank-ի գրասենյակի ռազմավարության բաժնի պետ Քրիստի Տանը:
Նախընտրական մրցարշավի ընթացքում Թրամփը սպառնացել Է Չինաստանը ճանաչել որպես արժութային մեքենայություններով զբաղվող երկիր: Բացի այդ, նա քանիցս խոստացել Է բարձրացնել չինական արտադրանքի առետրական տարիֆները՝ ընդհուպ մինչեւ ապրանքի արժեքի 45 տոկոս:
