Գեղամա լեռների արևմտյան ստորոտին փռված Կամարիս գյուղի բնակիչ Կամո Խաչատրյանն անկոտրում կամքի տեր մարդու համբավ ունի: Նա բազմաթիվ փորձությունների միջով է անցել մինչև հասել է այն աստիճանի, որ շատերի համար ընդօրինակման կերպար Է դարձել: Այդ մարդը ոչ մի հրաշք չի գործել, ոչ էլ տնամերձ այգում ապուպապերի թաղած ոսկու կճուճ է գտել: Ոչ: Նա պարզապես աշխատել է, ընդ որում՝ չի խորշել ոչ մի աշխատանքից: Տարիներ շարունակ արտագնա աշխատանքի է մեկնել Ռուսաստան, ժողովրդի լեզվով ասած՝ ՙխոպանչի՚ է եղել: Հազարավոր իր հայրենակիցների պես Կամո Խաչատրյանը միամտաբար հավատացել է, թե այնտեղ՝ ՙխոպանում՚, կարող է փող կուտակել:
1993 թվականին Կամո Խաչատրյանը համոզվեց, որ ՙխոպաններում՚ կարելի է միայն հանապազօրյա հաց վաստակել և մի կերպ հոգալ ընտանիքի հոգսերը: Վերադարձավ, ապրել էր պետք: Մարդիկ հողի կամ անասունների տեր են դարձել: Կամոն դիմեց ԱԿԲԱ-ԿՐԵԴԻՏ ԱԳՐԻԿՈԼ բանկ և վարկ վերցրեց: Արդարության դեմ չմեղանչելու համար ասենք, որ մինչ այդ նա կարողացել էր որոշակի քանակությամբ խոզեր գնել: Բայց, ինչպես ցույց տվեց կյանքը, Կամոն չկարողացավ խոզերի հետ ՙլեզու գտնել՚ և հրաժարվեց մարդկանց ամանորյա սեղանի համար խոզի բդեր կամ մատղաշ գոճիներ մատակարարելու մտքից և անցավ խոշոր եղջերավոր անասունների խնամքին: Հենց դրա համար էլ նա օգտագործեց բանկից վերցրած միջոցները:
Կամոն չի էլ հիշում, թե բանկից վերցրած վարկով քանի գլուխ անասուն գնեց: Միայն հիշում է, որ դրանք տեղական ցեղի էին, որոնք ավելի լավ էին հարմարվում գյուղի պայմաններին: Հետագայում, երբ Կամոն հմուտ անասնապահի համբավ ձեռք բերեց, սկսեց ավելացնել իր անասունների գլխաքանակը: Գիտեր, որ պակաս եկամտաբեր չեն նաև ոչխարները: Այսօր Կամո Խաչատրյանի ֆերման բավականին կայունացած տնտեսություն է, ունի 90 խոշոր եղջերավոր անասուններ, որոնցից 45-ը կթու կովեր են, 18-ը՝ ցուլ, մնացածը՝ հորթ կամ երինջ: Նա պահում է նաև 30 մայր խոզ, 50 ոչխար՝ իրենց 30 գառով:
Կամո Խաչատրյանը նաև աշխատատեղեր է ստեղծել: Նրա ընտանեկան ֆերմայում աշխատում են ոչ միայն կինն ու երկու որդիները, այլև մեկ տասնյակի չափ համագյուղացիներ՝ կթվորուհիներ ու հովիվներ: Կամոն իր 50 հեկտար հողատարածությունից միայն 18 հեկտարն է օգտագործում որպես վարելահող, որտեղ ցանում է հացահատիկ, իսկ մնացած հողերը խոտհարքներ են, որտեղից էլ նա ստանում է իր մեծաքանակ անասունների ձմեռային կերը:
Այսօր Կամո Խաչատրյանը մտադիր է էլ ավելի մեծացնել անասունների գլխաքանակը: Դրա համար էլ նա մտադիր է կրկին դիմել ԱԿԲԱ-ԿՐԵԴԻՏ ԱԳՐԻԿՈԼ բանկ, որի երկարամյա հաճախորդն է:
Այս պատմությունը լսելուց հետո չկարծեք, թե Կամո Խաչատրյանի կյանքում դժվարություններ չեն եղել: Ընդամենը երկու տարի առաջ նա ստիպված էր վարակված 170 խոզ ոչնչացնել: Իսկ դա, հավատացնում եմ, ում ասես թևաթափ կաներ: Բայց ոչ Կամո Խաչատրյանին: Կամոն չընկճվեց, պարզապես սկսեց ավելի եռանդուն աշխատել և շատ շուտով կարողացավ զրոյացնել հասցված վնասը: Նորից նրան ձեռք մեկնեց իր երկարամյա գործընկեր դրամատունը:
