 Հայաստանի տպագիր մամուլը համալրում ունի․ նոյեմբերի 8-ին լույս է տեսել «Փաստ» հասարակական-քաղաքական օրաթերթի անդրանիկ համարը: Օրաթերթի հիմնադիր, խմբագրական խորհրդի նախագահ Վարուժան Բաբաջանյանը նորաստեղծ լրատվամիջոցի սպառումից գոհ է և «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում տեղեկացրեց, որ «Փաստ»-ի ստեղծման նպատակներից մեկը լրատվության որակի բարելավումն է։

«Մեր մեդիա ընկերություններն իրենց առջև նպատակ են դրել ամբողջացված լրատվական փաթեթ մատուցել հասարակությանը: Այս պահին ունենք լրատվական կայքեր և թերթ, հետագայում հանդես կգանք նաև հեռուստատեսային ֆորմատով: Մենք որոշեցինք ստեղծել  թերթ, որն ամբողջացնելու է մեդիաընկերության պատկերը: Առաջիկայում նախատեսում ենք նաև հրատարակել նոր ամսագիր»,- ասաց Բաբաջանյանը:

«Փաստ» օրաթերթի հիմնադիր-տնօրենը չի կարծում, որ թերթի ձևաչափը կորցրել է իր պահանջարկը հասարակությունում:

«Համաձայն չեմ, որ թերթը «մեռնող» մշակույթ է, քանզի ընթերցողը կարիք ունի ավելի փաստարկված և ավելի կայուն լրատվամիջոցների: Լրատվական կայքերի դեպքում արագության մրցավազք կա, և լինում են դեպքեր, երբ ցավալիորեն ետին պլան է մղվում լրատվամիջոցների՝ ճշգրիտ տեղեկություն տարածելու սկզբունքը: Մեր խնդիրն է թերթի ռազմավարական նպատակներից մեկը արագության մրցավազքին զուգահեռ ճիշտ և փաստարկված լրատվություն հրապարակելն է»,- նշեց Բաբաջանյանը:
