Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հայտարարել Է, որ Մոսկվայում պատրաստ են ԱՄՆ-ի հետ լիաֆորմատ հարաբերությունների վերականգնմանը, բայց դա դյուրին չի լինելու, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Ինտերֆաքս»-ին:

«Մենք լսել ենք դեռ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի թեկնածու Դոնալդ Թրամփի հայտարարությունները, որոնք նպատակամղված Էին Ռուսաստանի եւ Միացյալ Նահանգների միջեւ հարաբերությունների վերականգնմանը: Մենք հասկանում ենք եւ մեզ հաշիվ ենք տալիս, որ դա դյուրին ճանապարհ չի լինելու՝ հաշվի առնելով այն անկումային վիճակը, որում, ցավոք, գտնվում են ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Ռուսաստանի հարաբերությունները»,-ասել Է նա:

«Ինչպես ես արդեն ասել եմ, մեր մեղքով չԷ, որ ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունները նման վիճակում են: Բայց Ռուսաստանը պատրաստ Է եւ ցանկանում Է վերականգնել լիաֆորմատ հարաբերությունները Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ»,-հավելել Է Պուտինը:

Ավելի վաղ Ռուսաստանի նախագահը շնորհավորել Է Դոնալդ Թրամփին ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի ընտրություններում հաղթելու առթիվ՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ համատեղ աշխատանքով կհաջողվի երկու երկրների հարաբերությունները դուրս բերել ճգնաժամից:

Բացի այդ, ՌԴ նախագահը վստահություն Է հայտնել, որ «Մոսկվայի եւ Վաշինգտոնի միջեւ կառուցողական երկխոսության հաստատումը՝ հիմնված իրավահավասարության, փոխադարձ հարգանքի եւ միմյանց դիրքորոշումների իրական հաշվառման վրա, համապատասխանում Է մեր երկրների ժողովուրդների եւ համաշխարհային ողջ հանցակցության շահերին»:
