Տեխասի Մակ-Կիննի քաղաքի բնակիչներից մեկը բավականին յուրօրինակ մոտեցում է ցուցաբերել սեփական տան կառուցման հարցում: Նա շինարարական ընկերությանը դիմեց  պահանջով, որ ցանկանում է՝ իր առանձնատունը արտաքինից նման լինի հասարակ պահեստի և ոչնչով չհիշեցնի, որ այն առանձնատուն է: Շինարարներն այդպես էլ արեցին, սակայն տան ներքին կահավորումը տանտերը որոշել է անել մաքսիմալ շքեղ ու պերճաշուք:

Կարելի է մտածել, որ սա ինչ-որ ձիարան կամ կամ մեծ խորդանոց է: Չէ՞ որ շինությունը անգամ պատուհաններ չունի, և նրա տարածքն էլ անմշակ, անխնամ է: Անգամ դեպի առանձնատուն տանող ճանապարհի վրա ասֆալտ չկա:

 

Եվ միայն տարածքում մի փոքր շրջելուց հետո է հասկանալի դառնում, որ շինությունը մշտական բնակելի է: Պահեստի հակառակ կողմում ոչ միայն պատուհաններ կան, այլ նաև օդորակիչ և արբանյակային ալեհավաք: Անգամ այդքանով հանդերձ՝ առանձնատունը ոչ մի լավ տպավորություն չի թողնում:

 

Սակայն միայն մուտք ոտք դնելն արդեն բավարար է, որպեսզի կարծիքդ կտրուկ փոխվի: Առանձնատան ներսն ուղղակի շքեղ է:  

 

Անմիջապես մուտքից հյուրերը հայտնվում են ընդարձակ հյուրասրահում: Այստեղ առաջին հերթին ուշադրություն է գրավում հսկայական էկրանը, որը շրջապատված է կինոդիտումների համար հարմար բազմոցներով:

 

Հյուրասենյակի մյուս ծայրում տեղադրված են ճաշի սեղանն ու բարը:

 

Տան ինտերիերը 100 տոկոսով տեխասցու ճաշակ է: Պատերը զարդարված են որսորդական ավարով, իսկ փայտից պատրաստված դարակները կովբոյական ֆիլմերի մասին են հիշեցնում:

 

Տունը նաև երկրորդ հարկ ունի, որտեղ կարելի է բարձրանալ լայն, փայտե աստիճաններով:

Վերնահարկը դժվար է լիարժեք հարկ անվանել: Ավելի ճիշտ՝ այն սրահ է, որը հյուրասենյակը կապում է ննջասենյակների հետ:

 

Ննջասենյակի տարածքի մեծ մասը զբաղեցնում է հսկայական մահճակալը, որի կողքին հնաոճ մի քանի պահարաններ են:

Դատելով տան նախագծման աշխատանքներից՝ կարելի է մտածել, որ տանտերը նախատեսել է այն օգտագործել որպես հյուրանոց կամ մոթել: Սակայն տանտերը հավաստիացնում է, որ տունը իր համար է կառուցել և այս շքեղ տան ներսում իրեն զգում է հարմարավետ ու հանգիստ:

 

Այո՛, հարուստներն էլ իրենց տարօրինակություններն ունեն, և ինչպես ամեն մարդ, իրավունք ունեն կահավորելու սեփական տունը այնպես, ինչպես կցանկանան: Սակայն երևակայության պակասի հարցում այս տանտերն իսկապես պակաս չունի:
