Նա իր արտաքին գեղեցկությամբ պարզապես հիացնում է բոլորին: Հայտնի հայուհի, որն աչքի է ընկնում իր ընդգծված արտաքին տվյալներով։ Ինչպես շատերն են նրան պիտակավորել, որպես գլամուրային կերպար, աչքի է ընկնում իր «գլամուրային կենսակերպով»:
Չնայած իր վարած կենսակերպին ու առօրյային, նա նույնպես անմասն չի մնացել այն քննադատություններից, ինչը վերաբերում է հենց պլաստիկ վիրահատություններին:

Հանրային լինելը շատերի համար համարվում է ինքնահաստատման միջոց, իսկ շատ ու շատ հայտնիներ չեն կարողանում համակերպվել այն մտքի հետ, որ հանրային մարդ են:
Մայան թերևս այն հայտնիներից է, որը չի թաքցնում, որ իրեն դուր է գալիս հանրային մարդ լինելը։
«Մասնակցելը բազմազան միջոցառումներին ու երեկոներին, իմ առօրյայի մի մասն է կազմում, արդեն համակերպվել եմ այդ վիճակին և չեմ պատկերացնում ինձ առանց այդ ամենի, չնայած ինձ երբեք կարիերիստ չեմ համարել և չեմ համարում: Ինձ համար կարևոր է ընտանիքը: Տարիներ առաջ ստացել եմ աշխատանքային առաջարկ, որի համար պետք է մեկնեի Դուբայ՝ այնտեղ աշխատելու համար: Թվում է՝ ավելի լայն հնարավորություն էր, սակայն հրաժարվեցի: Պատճառը մեկն էր. չէի ուզում, որ երեխաս կտրվի իր միջավայրից ու հարազատներից»,- ասում է նա:
Երիտասարդ մայրիկը հարցազրույցներից մեկում նշել է, որ ցանկանում է ունենալ մեծ ընտանիք:
«Ամուսինս շատ է ուզում, որ մենք երեք երեխա ունենանք, ես ինքս դեմ չեմ, քանի որ երկուսս էլ ծնվել և մեծացել ենք բազմազավակ ընտանիքում: Այդ պատճառով ես ինքս էլ ուզում եմ, որ իմ երեխան վայելի թե՛ եղբոր, թե՛ քրոջ սերն ու քաղցրությունը»,- անկեղծանում է նա։
Խոսելով իր ապագա պլանների մասին Մայա Պողոսյանը հարցազրույցներից մեկի ժամանակ նշել է.
«Ապագայում պատրաստվում ենք, բացել «Էլ» խանութ սրահ, քաղաքի փոքր կենտրոնում, որը կհամագործակցի թե Հայաստանի հայտնի ոճաբանների հետ, և թե դրսում ապրող մեր հայ ու տաղանդաշատ ոճաբանների հետ»:
