ԱՄՆ-ի ընտրությունների քվեաթերթիկներում ներառվել Է 155 նախաձեռնություն

Ամերիկացի ընտրողները նոյեմբերի 8-ին պետք Է ոչ միայն ընտրեն պետության ղեկավարին, Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի 435 անդամներին, 100 սենատորներից 34-ին, այլեւ որոշեն այն 155 օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունների ճակատագիրը, որոնք տարբեր նահանգներում մտցված են քվեաթերթիկներում, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Մասնավորապես, Կոլումբիայի ֆեդերալ օկրուգում ընտրողները պետք Է իրենց կարծիքը հայտնեն այն մասին, թե օկրուգը կդառնա արդյոք ԱՄՆ-ի 51-րդ նահանգը: 177 քառակուսի կիլոմետր տարածությամբ օկրուգը կազմավորվել Է 1871 թվականին եւ չի մտնում նահանգներից որեւԷ մեկի մեջ: Կալիֆոռնիայում քվեաթերթիկներում ներառված Է 17 նախաձեռնություն (2000 թվականից ի վեր առավելագույն թվով), եւ դրանցից մեկը նախատեսում Է մահապատժի վերացում, իսկ մյուսն առաջարկում Է արագացնել մահապատժի կիրառումն արդեն 741 դատապարտյալների նկատմամբ:
Բացի դրանից, կալիֆոռնիացի ընտրողները կարծիք կհայտնեն այն նախաձեռնության վերաբերյալ, որի համաձայն զինամթերք գնող մարդը պետք Է ստուգում անցնի ոստիկանությունում: Նեբրասկայում ընտրողներին առաջարկվում Է վերացնել 2015 թվականի այն օրենքը, որը նախատեսում Է մահապատժի փոխարինում ցմահ բանտարկությամբ: Օկլահոմայում կքվեարկեն նահանգի սահմանադրության այն օրենքի շուրջ, որը կարգելի մահապատիժը դաժան կամ արտասովոր պատիժ համարելը: 14 նախաձեռնություն Է մտցված Ալաբամայի նահանգի քվեաթերթիկներում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
