Թեհրանը կշարունակի Դամասկոսին անհրաժեշտ ողջ ռազմական, քաղաքական եւ տնտեսական աջակցությունը ցուցաբերել մինչեւ ահաբեկչության դեմ վերջնական հաղթանակի հասնելը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես նոյեմբերի 7-ին հայտնել Է ՍԱՆԱ գործակալությունը, հայտարարել Է Իրանի խորհրդարանի նախագահ Ալի Լարիջանին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմեն պրես»-ը:
Գործակալության տվյալների համաձայն, այս հայտարարությունը Լարիջանին արել Է Սիրիայի արտաքին գործերի առաջին փոխնախարար Ֆեյսալ Միքդադի հետ Թեհրանում կայացած հանդիպման ընթացքում:
«Լարիջանին հավաստեց, որ Իրանի ղեկավարությունը կշարունակի Սիրիային քաղաքական, տնտեսական եւ ռազմական օգնություն տրամադրել մինչեւ ահաբեկչության լիակատար ջախջախումը»,-նշվում Է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Իրանի արտաքին գործերի փոխնախարար Հոսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլահիյանն ավելի վաղ ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել Է, որ Սիրիայում չկան իրանական կանոնավոր ստորաբաժանումներ կամ հատուկ նշանակության ուժեր, այլ խոսքը բացառապես ռազմական խորհրդականների մասին Է, որոնք մասնագիտանում են ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարում: Նա նշել Է, որ Սիրիայի կառավարող ռեժիմի կողմում կռվում են բացառապես սիրիական բանակն ու տեղի աշխարհազորայինները:
