Պարզվում է, որ պլաստիլինը ստեղծել է դպրոցական մի աղջիկ: Նա հայտնի Կլեո Մակվիկերոյի թոռն է, որը զբաղվում էր պաստառների համար մաքրող միջոցների արտադրությամբ: Աղջիկն առաջարկում է այդ նյութն օգտագործել խաղերի մեջ, իսկ երբ բաղադրությունից հանում են քիմիական մաքրող միջոցները՝ ավելացնելով ներկանյութեր ու մինդալի յուղ, ստացվում է պլաստիլին:
 
Ատամի խոզանակ Հատուկ տիեզերագնացների համար
 
13-ամյա մի ռուս տղա ատամնաբույժի հետ համատեղ ստեղծել է մի յուրօրինակ ատամի խոզանակ՝ նախատեսված միայն տիեզերագնացների համար:
 
Մորթե ականջակալներ
 
Մորթե ականջակալների ստեղծման միտքը պատկանում է 15-ամյա Չեստեր Գրինվուդին, ով շատ էր սիրում սահել դահուկներով և միաժամանակ երաժշտություն լսել:
 
Վիրակապերից անցավ ազատվելու հեղուկ
 
8-ամյա ֆլորիդացի Ալաննա Մեյերսը ստեղծել է մի հեղուկ, որն օգնում է հեշտությամբ և արագ հեռացնել վիրակապը: Հեղուկի բաղադրության մեջ մտնում են օճառ, լավանդայի յուղ և ջուր: Աղջկա մոտ նման միտք է ծագել, երբ վիրահատությունից հետո տանը ստիպված է եղել ինքնուրույն փոխել վիրակապերը:
 
Բեռնատար խաղալիք
 
Խաղալիք բեռնատարի, որը թափքից բեռնաթափում է ապրանքը, ստեղծման միտքը պատկանում է 6-ամյա Ռոբերտ Պետչին: Նա անգամ նկարել է իր պատկերացրած մեքենան, որպեսզի հայրիկն իր համար պատրաստի:
 
Բատուտ
 
Բատուտի ստեղծման միտքը պատկանում է 16-ամյա մարմնամարզիկ Ջորջ Նիսսենին: Նրա մոտ այդ միտքը ծագեց իր պարապմունքներն ավելի հեշտացնելու համար: Ստեղծման համար պահանջվեց 5 տարի: Մրգային սառույց Մրգային սառույցն առաջին անգամ պատրատել է 11-ամյա Ֆրենկ Էպպերսոնը։ Պարզապես մի ցուրտ օր նա մոռացել էր իր հյութը դրսից ներս բերել, իսկ հյութի մեջ դրված էր նաև փայտիկ, որի միջոցով տղան խառնել էր այն: Առավոտյան հյութը սառել էր և նմանվել մրգային պաղպաղակի:
 
Ամեն տարի աշխարհում 500 հազար երեխա տարբեր հայտնագործություններ է կատարում:
