Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Սոցինտերնի Գլխավոր քարտուղար Լուիս Այալային, ով Հայաստանում է գտնվում ՀՅԴ-ի կողմից հյուրընկալված Սոցիալիստական ինտերնացիոնալի ԱՊՀ, Կովկասի և Սև ծովի հանձնախմբի ժողովին մասնակցելու նպատակով: Ժողովի օրակարգային հարցերի թվում են նաև տարածաշրջանում ժողովրդավարության և հակամարտությունների կարգավորման հարցերը:

Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից։

Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրին մեր երկրում և հույս հայտնել, որ երևանյան ժողովը, որին մասնակցում է պարոն Այալան, հաջող ընթացք է ունեցել: Սերժ Սարգսյանը բարձր է գնահատել ողջ աշխարհում սոցիալիստական և սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական գաղափարներ դավանող քաղաքական ուժերին միավորող Սոցինտերնի գործունեությունը, որի հռչակած քաղաքական արժեքներն են՝ ազատությունը, արդարությունը և համերաշխությունը: Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ այդ արժեքները հայերի համար մշտապես կարևոր են եղել:

Սոցինտերնի Գլխավոր քարտուղարը գոհունակությամբ է խոսել ժողովի շրջանակներում կայացած քննարկումների մասին: Հակիրճ ներկայացնելով սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական, սոցիալիստական և աշխատավորական կուսակցությունների համաշխարհային կառույց Սոցինտերնի գործունեությունը, որը համախմբում է բոլոր մայրցամաքներից 152 անդամ կուսակցությունների և բազմաթիվ կազմակերպությունների, Լուիս Այալան ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցությունը Սոցինտերնի անդամ ՀՅԴ-ի միջոցով տարեցտարի ամրապնդվում է: Նա նշել է, որ կառույցն իր համերաշխությունն է հայտնել ՀՅԴ-ին՝ ՀՀ-ում սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների իրականացման վերաբերյալ կուսակցության դիրքորոշման հարցում՝ կարևորելով երկրում բարեփոխումների խորացումը և ժողովրդավարության ամրապնդման օրակարգի առաջմղումը:

Հանդիպմանը զրուցակիցները քննարկել են տարածաշրջանի խաղաղությանն ու կայունությանը սպառնացող մարտահրավերները, անդրադարձել՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ ճանապարհով կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացին, առկա խնդիրներին, Հայաստան-Թուրքիա հարաբերություններին, Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման և դատապարտման գործընթացին:

Հանրապետության Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Հայաստանի համար կարևորագույն հարցերում միջազգային տարբեր հարթակներում և կառույցի անդամ կուսակցությունների երկրներում Սոցինտերնի կառուցողական դիրքորոշման համար:
