Մարտի 9-ին Լոռու մարզի Շնող գյուղում 9 ամսական աղջիկ էր մահացել, որի մոտ ախտորոշել էին լեյշմանիոզ հիվանդությունը: Երեխային սկզբում տեղափոխել էին գյուղի ամբուլատորիա, այնուհետև Ալավերդու բժշկական կենտրոն, հետո արդեն` «Նորք» ինֆեկցիոն հիվանդանոց, սակայն երեխայի կյանքը փրկել չի հաջողվել: Asekose.am-ը զրուցել է  «Նորք» ինֆեկցիոն հիվանդանոցի առաջին բաժանմունքի վարիչ Հռիփսիմե Ապրեսյանի հետ լեյշմանիոզ հիվանդության, դրա փոխանցման ճանապարհների, ախտանիշների, բուժման եղանակների մասին, Հայաստանում դրա տարածվածության մասին և ոչ միայն:

Հիվանդությունը չբուժելու դեպքում կարող է մահացու լինել 

Լեյշմանիոզը վտանգավոր վարակիչ հիվանդություն է: Ընդերային լեյշմանիոզը ծայրաստիճան վտանգավոր հիվանդություն է համարվում, որը չբուժելու դեպքում կարող է մահացու լինել: Ուշ ախտորոշման դեպքում ևս հաջող բուժման շանսերը բավականին ցածր են: Բուժումը ժամանակին սկսելու դեպքում հիվանդը կարող է ամբողջությամբ առողջանալ:

Լեյշմանիոզի հարուցիչները մլակներն են: Մլակը խայթում է վարակված կենդանուն, մակաբույծը տեղափոխվում է նրա մարմին: Դրանից հետո մլակը խայթում է մարդուն` նրա օրգանիզմին փոխանցելով հիվանդության հարուցիչը:  Այս ճանապարհով էլ մարդը վարակվում է այս հիվանդությամբ: Պետք է նշեմ, որ անհնար է հիվանդ կենդանուց վարակվել՝ առանց մլակի մասնակցության:

Հիվանդության հանդեպ խոցելի են հատկապես մինչև 5 տարեկան երեխաները

Այս հիվանդության հանդեպ խոցելի են հատկապես մինչև 5 տարեկան երեխաները: Նրանց օրգանիզմը շատ զգայուն է, նրանց իմունային համակարգը դեռևս բավականաչափ ամուր չէ, ամենից հաճախ հենց նրանք են վարակվում ինչի պատճառով էլ նրանք հաճախ են հիվանդանում: Պետք է ժամանակին իրականացնել համապատասխան բուժում, քանի որ երեխաների համար հատկապես դա ծայրաստիճան վտանգավոր հիվանդություն է: Մեծահասակների և մեծ երեխաների մոտ հիվանդությունը զարգանում է այն դեպքում, եթե իմունիտետի հետ կապված խնդիրներ են ունենում:
