Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին վավերագրական ֆիլմը կպայքարի Օսկարի համար

Նարե Մկրտչյանի «Տան մյուս կողմը» վավերագրական ֆիլմն ընդգրկվել է Օսկարի «Լավագույն վավերագրական կարճամետրաժ ֆիլմ» անվանակարգի սեղմ ցուցակում` «շորթլիսթում»: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այն 9 այլ կարճամետրաժ ֆ իլմերի հետ կպայքարի Օսկարի համար:
«Տան մյուս կողմը» վավերագրական ֆիլմը պատմում է Թուրքիայի քաղաքացի մի կնոջ մասին, ով 2015 թվականին պարզում է, որ իր մեծ մայրը ցեղասպանությունը վերապրողներից մեկն է, և որոշում է մեկնել Հայաստան՝ մասնակցելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումներին: Նրա ներսում միշտ պայքարում են Ցեղասպանություն վերապրածն ու Ցեղասպանություն ժխտողը:
Երևանում ծնված ռեժիսոր Նարե Մկրտչյանը Լոս Անջելես է տեղափոխվել 15 տարի առաջ: Սովորելով համաշխարհային կինոյի ներկայացուցչական դպրոցներից մեկում՝ USC School of Cinematic Arts հանրահայտ կինոդարբնոցում` Նարե Մկրտչյանն այս տարիների ընթացքում նկարահանել է ավելի քան 60 կարճամետրաժ ֆիլմ:
Օսկարի 89-րդ ամենամյա մրցանակաբաշխությունը կկայանա 2017 թվականի փետրվարի 26-ին:
