Հայաստանում կան մարդիկ, որոնք այլեւս չեն կասկածում ԱՄՆ նախագահի ընտրություններում Հիլարի Քլինթոնի հաղթանակին: Բուն ամերիկացիները, սակայն, դեռ մտավախություն ունեն, որ հանկարծ կհաղթի Դոնալդ Թրամփը: Ինչպե՞ս հասկանալ սա: Ավելին ասեմ՝ ԱՄՆ վարչակազմն իր ողջ զինանոցով դեռ պայքարում է Թրամփի դեմ, իսկ մերոնք այստեղ՝ Հայաստանում, հոդված են գրում, թե Թրամփը մեռավ, ու այլեւս հույս չկա, որ կհաղթի: Հիմա ի՞նչ՝ մերոնք Օբամայի գլխի տա՞կ են փափուկ բարձ դնում, թե՞ մի բան գիտեն, որ պնդում են՝ Քլինթոնը «հաղթել-պրծել ա»: Ես մի փոքր այլ կերպ եմ մտածում եւ, մինչեւ բուն ասելիքին անցնելը, քաղաքագիտական վերլուծությունների հայր Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի թույլտվությամբ փոքրիկ զուգահեռ կանցկացնեմ վրացական, հայկական եւ ամերիկյան Իվանիշվիլիների միջեւ:
Իվանիշվիլին ամենախելոք մարդը չէր Վրաստանում: Նա պարզապես շատ փող ուներ, եկավ եւ քաղաքավարի ձեւով վերցրեց իշխանությունը: Այն էլ ում ձեռքից՝ համարյա ամերիկացի Սահակաշվիլու: Այսինքն՝ չենք կարող միանշանակ պնդել, թե ԱՄՆ-ն նրան իշխանության բերեց Վրաստանում: Տարիներ անց քիչ էր մնացել այս նույն սցենարը բեմադրվեր նաեւ Հայաստանում, սակայն կամ մեր Իվանիշվիլին այն չէր, կամ նրա շուրջը բոլորած խելացի քաղաքական ռահվիրաները, որոնց միակ քյարն այդ օրերից այն եղավ, որ հասցրին մի քանի անգամ բազմել հայկական Իվանիշվիլու շքեղ կահույքին ու կոնյակ «մզել»:
