Հղիության ընթացքում պարացետամոլի ընդունումը մեծացնում է աուտիզմով կամ ուշադրության խանգարումով երեխա ունենալու ռիսկը, զգուշացնում են Էկոլոգիական համաճարակաբանության ոլորտում հետազոտությունների իսպանական կենտրոնի CREAL գիտնականները:
Նրանք հարցում են անցկացրել 2500 կնոջ շրջանում, որոնց երեխաները 1-ից 5 տարեկան են եղել եւ պարզել են, թե արդյոք նրանք պարացետամոլ (ացետամինոֆեն) են ընդունել հղիության ընթացքում, եթե այո, որքան հաճախ:
Պարզվել է, որ մինչեւ 1 տարեկան երեխաների 43 տոկոսը եւ մինչեւ 5 տարեկան երեխաների 41 տոկոսը պարացետամոլի ազդեցությանն են ենթարկվել, երբ գտնվել են մոր արգանդում, ընդ որում, կնոջ հղիության ժամկետն այդ պահին չի գերազանցել 32 շաբաթը: Այդ բոլոր երեխաները հիպերակտիվ են եղել: Իսկ այն երեխաները, որոնց մայրերը հաճախ են պարացետամոլ ընդունել, անհամեմատ ավելի պակաս ուշադիր եւ նստաջան են եղել իրենց տարեկիցների համեմատ, որոնք այդ դեղամիջոցի ազդեցությանը չեն ենթարկվել:
Միաժամանակ տղաների մոտ, որոնց օրգանիզմը կանոնավորապես ենթարկվել է պարացետամոլի ազդեցությանը, աուտիզմի ախտանիշներ են հայտնաբերվել: Հետազոտության ղեկավար բժիշկ Ավելլա-Գարսիան այդ երեւույթը բացատրել է նրանով, որ տղամարդկային ուղեղն ավելի զգայուն է անդրոգեն էնդոկրին խանգարումների հանդեպ:
Գիտական աշխատանքի համահեղինակ բժիշկ Հորդի Ջուլվեզը հավելել է, որ պարացետամոլը կոչված է մեղմելու ցավը, ազդելով ուղեղում գտնվող կանեփային ռեցեպտորների վրա: Դրանց գործառույթը կայանում է նեյրոնների միջսինապտիկ կապերի հասունացմանը եւ որակին հետեւելու մեջ, իսկ դեղամիջոցի բաղադրիչները խախտում են այդ գործընթացը: Ավելին, դրանք կարող են ճնշել իմունային համակարգը եւ թունավոր լինել սաղմերի համար:
Իմիջիայլոց, պարացետամոլի վնասակարության հարցը դեռ փակված չէ, չէ որ հետազոտողներն աուտիզմի եւ հիպերակտիվության համախտանիշի եւ ուշադրության խանգարման ախտանիշներ են տեսել, սակայն հստակ ախտորոշում չեն տվել: Այնուամենայնիվ մասնագետները կանանց խորհուրդ են տալիս ամեն դեպքում հղիության ընթացքում պարացետամոլ չընդունել:
