Թուրքագետ Լևոն Հովսեփյանի դիտարկմամբ' Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը կարող է հետաձգել նոյեմբերի 1-ին կայանալիք արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները' հաշվի առնելով երկրում առկա ռազմական դրությունը: «Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը պատրաստ է անել ցանկացած բան իր ղեկավարած «Արդարություն և զարգացում» կուսակցության հաղթանակն ապահովելու և հունիսին գրանցված արդյունքը չկրկնելու համար. Թուրքիայի Սահմանադրությունն ընձեռում է նրան այդպիսի հնարավորություն»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ' լրագրողների հետ սեպտեմբերի 8-ին կայացած հանդիպմանն այսպիսի տեսակետ հայտնեց Հովսեփյանը' հավելելով, որ Քրդստանի բանվորական կուսակցության ակտիվ գործունեությունը լուրջ խնդիրներ է առաջացնում Թուրքիայում, ինչը կարող է իր ազդեցությունը թողնել տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության վրա:

Նա նկատեց, որ հունիսին տեղի ունեցած ընտրություններում Քրդական ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունն 80 մանդատ ստացավ մեջլիսում, սակայն արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ անցկացնելու հայտարարությունից հետո քրդական բանվորական կուսակցությունը լայն թափով անցավ ռազմական գործողությունների: «Քրդական ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունը համոզված չէ, որ կապահովի նույն արդյունքը, իսկ թուրքական վերնախավն ուզում է չեզոքացնել այդ կուսակցությանը»,-ընդգ ծեց Լևոն Հովսեփյանը'շեշտելով, որ Էրդողանը որոշակի ուղերձ է ուղարկում ընտրազանգվածին, որ իր կուսակցության ընտրության դեպքում երկրում կվերականգվի կայունությունը:
