ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրվն այն կարծիքին Է, որ ներկայում Ռուսաստանի եւ Արեւմուտքի միջեւ չկան անհաշտելի գաղափարախոսական հակասություններ, որոնք կբերեն նոր «սառը պատերազմի», տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«Մենք չունենք գաղափարախոսական այնպիսի հակասություններ, որոնք անխուսափելի կդարձնեին «սառը պատերազմը»,-ասել Է նա՝ ելույթ ունենալով Ռուսաստանում Եվրոպական բիզնեսի ասոցիացիայի մասնակիցների առջեւ:
Միեւնույն ժամանակ Լավրովը նշել Է, որ «մեր գործընկերների անողոքությունը, այդ թվում՝ հրապարակային, նույնիսկ ավելի սաստիկ Է, քան «սառը պատերազմի» ժամանակներում:
Նա հիշեցրել Է, որ «սառը պատերազմի» ժամանակ գործում Էին չգրված կանոններ, «որոնց կողմերը հետեւում Էին՝ ամեն կերպ ջանալով չստեղծել ինչ-ինչ իրավիճակներ, որոնք մյուս կողմը կարող Էր ընկալել որպես վտանգավոր անակնկալ»: «Իսկ այժմ իրադրությունն այլ Է, որովհետեւ կանոնները խիստ կասկածի են ենթարկվում»,-ընդգծել Է նախարարը, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի գործակալությունը:
