Ադրբեջանում բանկային ոլորտի գործազուրկների թիվը շարունակում է աճել: Փորձագետների կարծիքով բանկերի փակման գործնթացի շարունակվելու պատճառով գործազուրկների թիվը շեշտակիորեն կմեծանա:

Տնտեսագետ Ազեր Մեհթիեւի կանխատեսմամբ` մոտ ապագայում Ադրբեջանում ֆինանսական ոլորտի կազմակերպությունների թիվը կրկին կսկի պակասել, քանի որ ֆինանսական ոլորտում դրական տենդենցներ դեռեւս չեն սպասում:
Այդ երկրում դոլարի 2 դեվալվացիաներից հետո փակվել է 13 բանկ, վերջինը Bank Standard բանկն էր: Ադրբեջանում գործող բանկերի թիվը 45-ից իջել է 32-ի, իսկ այս ոլորտի գործազուրկների թիվը հասել է 6500-ի: Մասնագետների կանխատեսմամբ մոտ ապագայում ադրբեջանում ամենաքիչը 3 բանկ կփակվի եւ արդյունքում բանկային ոլորտի գործազուրկների թիվը կհասնի 10 հազարի:
Նավթի գնանկման պատճառով տնտեսական ճգնաժամում հայտնված Ադրբեջանում իրար հետեւից փակվում են բանկերը, 2016 թվականի հոկտեմբեր ամիսը ներառյալ Ադրբեջանում փակվել է 13 բանկ:
Բանկերի լիցենզիաների չեղարկման պատճառն այն է, որ նրանց գումարային կապիտալը չի համապատասխանում ԿԲ-ի կողմից պահանջվող չափին, ինչպես նաեւ այն պատճառով, որ բանկերն ի վիճակի չեն վարկատուների առաջ կատարել իրենց պարտավորությունները եւ ընթացիկ հուսալի ղեկավարում ապահովել:
