ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման նախագահի հանրապետական թեկնածու Դոնալդ Թրամփին կոչ է արել դադարեցնել նվնվոցը, հայտնում է «Ամերիկայի ձայնը»։
«Ո՛չ իմ ամբողջ կյանքի, ո՛չ էլ ժամանակակից քաղաքական պատմության ընթացքում ես չեմ տեսել նախագահի որեւէ թեկնածուի, որը փորձեր վարկաբերել ընտրությունները ու ընտրական գործընթացը դեռ մինչեւ քվեարկության կայանալը,- ասել է Օբաման,- Սա աննախադեպ իրավիճակ է։ Եվ բացի դրանից այդ պնդումների հիմքում փաստեր չկան»։
«Ես պարոն Թրամփին խորհուրդ կտայի դադարեցնել նվնվոցը ու փորձել ապացուցել, որ իր ծրագիրը համոզիչ է, որպեսզի ձայներ ստանա,- ասել է Օբաման,- Ու եթե նա ստանա ձայների մեծամասնությունը, ես կարծում եմ Հիլարի Քլինթոնը արժանապատվորեն կընդունի իր պարտությունը ու կխոստանա համագործակցել նրա հետ, որպեսզի ԱՄՆ-ում լինի արդյունավետ կառավարություն, որը հանուն ամերիկյան ժողովրդի բարօրության է աշխատում։ Իսկ իմ պարտքը կլինի ողջունել Թրամփի հաղթանակը, անտեսելով այն ամենը, ինչ նա ասել է իմ հասցեին ու մեր տարաձայնությունները ու նրա մասին իմ կարծիքը, նաեւ՝ իշխանությունը խաղաղ ձեւով փոխանցել նրան։ Հենց այդպես են վարվում ամերիկացիները»։
