Լուկաշենկոյին Հայաստան ժամանելիս դիմավորեց նրա ընկեր Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը։ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը քաղաքական որևէ պաշտոն չի զբաղեցնում, բայց նա դիմավարում է տարածաշրջանային ռազմաքաղաքական գագաթաժողովի մասնակցելու եկած նախագահին։ Այն, որ սա դուրս է պետական, դիվանագիտական արարողակարգային ցանկացած կանոնից ոչ միայն ակնհայտ է այլ նաև ծիծաղելի։ Սա հետխորհրդային երկրներում տիրող քաղաքական պլինտուզից ցածր մշակույթի վառ վկայությունն է։
Բայց սրանից զատ, ասում են, թե Լուկաշենկոն, որն եկել էր աշխարհի ամենաանիմստ կառույց ՀԱՊԿ-ի շրջանակներում իբրև թե անդամ երկների հավաքական անվտնագության սպառնալիքները քննարկելու, ի տարբերություն մեր իշխանությունների, այնքան ազնվություն է ունեցել, որ ասել է, թե իրեն մանր հարցերով Հայաստան են բերել և որ ՀԱՊԿ-ը աշխարհում ոչ ոք ճանաչել չի ուզում։ Այս մարդը լավ գիտի ինչ է ՀԱԿՊ ու ինչ «դեր» ունի այն անդամ երկների անվտանգության մեջ, և եկել էր պարզապես իր ընկեր Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի հետ զվարճանալու և պարզվում է հենց նույն օրն էլ գնացել է Հայաստանից։
