Idram and Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) Launch Strategic Partnership in Armenia
ՎԻԴԵՈIdram, Armenia’s leading fintech company, has announced the launch of a strategic partnership with Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay), marking a new milestone in its international expansion and another significant step in the development of Armenia’s payment and settlement ecosystem.
Within the framework of this partnership, Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) users will be able to make payments across Armenia by scanning Idram QR codes at more than 26,000 points of sale using their Weixin (WeChat) application. The integration of WeChat Pay is expected to significantly enhance payment convenience for visitors from China, supporting the growth of Armenia’s tourism, retail, and service sectors.
According to Arsene Kdenian, Director of Idram, cooperation with leading international payment systems for Idram is not only a technological development, but also a strategic investment in the economic and digital future of Armenia. “Partnership with Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) is an important step on the path to the global integration of Armenia’s fintech ecosystem and opens up new opportunities for both businesses and tourists. We are pleased that the service will soon be available to Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) users. As the next phase of our cooperation, Idram users will also be able to make payments in China via Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) QR using Idram&IDBank application,” said Arsene Kdenian.
